Oh my word… So of course i’ve been playing Alien Isolation on and off. I find the scariness level so high that at times it’s really not enjoyable to play. I know i’m getting emotional about this, but when progression is dependent on a gamer not being scared – no progression takes place at all lol:

Alien Isolation
Ok; i am progressing, but very slowly. Gamers who play with headphones on are too brave. The music and other sounds booming from Sevastopol Station are too real for my emotions. This game is so intense i feel like my blood is clotting because its pumping so hard.

Heart Palpitations
I’ve encountered the alien twice so far – in cut-scenes only thankfully. The most recent encounter was when it killed some employees on the station; after almost falling on top of me from an overhead vent:

Alien Encounters
I knew things were starting to get serious when they gave me my first gun and a motion detection scanner. At first i struggled with figuring out how to craft/select items and de-code some of the puzzles, but i’m getting the hang of it now:

Alien Isolation First Gun
I’m at the point where i’ve just made contact with my ship; and now an annoying alarm is sounding in my communication room. My objective is to get out of the room – without detection i assume. This assumption comes about because of these psycho robotic guys who try to prohibit you from accessing certain areas. Word of advice – don’t hit the robotic guys in the face with a wrench; they will stalk you and kill you:

Alien Isolation Robots
Is anyone else playing Alien Isolation? What are your thoughts (let’s start a counselling group for those sleepless nights)?
