Cartoon Horrors

Ok seriously, some adults don’t know the trauma they beset upon their kids when they let them watch certain cartoons…

Sid from Toy Story

Sid from Toy Story

Everyone thinks Sid and his mutated toys from Toy Story are pretty scary, but they really didn’t bother my brother and I as kids (5 and 7). However, there is one cartoon that totally messed my brother and I up emotionally and psychologically. The Lady and the Tramp…

Siamese Cats from Lady and the Tramp

Siamese Cats from Lady and the Tramp

The whole movie had a dark/grunge tone to it, but that scene with the Siamese cats was akin to the twin girls walking out of that elevator in The Shining. To this day my brother and I cringe at just the mention of these cats… We tried to watch the scene now that we are older, but we couldn’t lol πŸ˜₯ so creepy.

WARNING ->Β HERE IS THE SIAMESE CAT SCENE!Β <- ENTER AT OWN RISK

Why were you a part of my childhood πŸ˜₯ it was perfect until you blemished it πŸ˜₯ Did anyone else have trauma for life after watching Lady and the Tramp? If not, what cartoon do you think is worse than this one??

DC Hero Height Comparison Chart

So a while back I put up a post with a height comparison chart of our favourite heroes. A fellow blogger has brought the DC Hero height comparison chart to my attention:

Rounding up (because we never round height down) my height most closely reaches that of Nightwing. He’s cool, I like his outfit. I could definitely go to work dressed like that every day. Looks comfy. Who is your height the closest to on the chart?

Hungry for Animation

I am sure we are all hungry for animation in the figurative sense (i simply believe that the household life-cycle is 1st childhood, 2nd childhood etc) i’m on my 3rd childhood now; and am hungry for animation in both the literal and figurative sense. Check out these handmade pancakes, testament to some cool animated characters:

Do you remember this cool cartoon from the ’90s? For me it was a happy marriage between two of my top obsessions – space/aliens and animation:

Throttle was always my favorite. However, my brother has a Modo action figure (i will dig him up to showcase him under a future ‘merchandise Monday’):

Fan Art Friday #11

Today’s fan art Friday is dedicated to my favorite Pokemon – Charizard! He is number 6 on the universal Pokemon index, and my birthday is on the 6th day of the 6th month; we are also more or less the same height – it’s no coincidence my friends:

Charizard

Charizard

As always, the drawing is all ink, and for a change i used some colour. I am definitely a fire type Pokemon. My second favorite Pokemon would have to be Typhlosion. I also like Ninetales. Of course i have other favorites too; who are not fire types πŸ™‚

Lego Couch

In the Lego movie; the protagonist character is only really capable of building a useless double-decker couch (in the beginning). I found the real life Lego couch that he builds!

Lego Double Decker Couch

This is actually a couch that converts into a double-decker bed, but i’m sure that it can be used as a double-decker couch too:
