Pokemon Go

Yes i know I’m late to be blogging about this (sorry), but as a Pokemon Master it’s still my duty…

Is this a joke?

I joined the game late, well maybe like 3 weeks after it launched? I’m currently level 23, just short of 24, but i haven’t been playing for quite some time (mostly because I still don’t have Charizard so I’m pouting about it)…

Near my work – abundance!

It’s strange how before the game came out, i’d always think to myself, ”yea, those would be my six Pokemon, they’re my fave, they’re so cool…” but when you actually play the game, your top six are totally not of your choosing (unless you’re willing to work hard, or should i say walk far), but otherwise if you’re just average into the game, your top six will mostly be determined by luck (hatching eggs, being in the right location at the right time).

When the game first launched, we went to the Sydney Opera House on the one Saturday, and literally everyone was consumed by the game – it’s one of those iconic moments, when people are no longer flocking for a selfie at a landmark, but rather to catch something rare…

I did try several times to take the Opera House gym, but its literally impossible, so many people are challenging it, it ends up actually like glitching and kicking you out – too much traffic. I have taken over other less crowded gym locations temporarily.

Is anyone else playing/was playing? I chose the yellow team because i liked the whole instinct/intuition story behind it, then later i learnt my friends all chose blue just because it’s their favourite colour, how annoying.

Oh you know, just walking on water hoping to find a Gyarados…

Disobedient Dragons

So I drew a parallel a while back (but am only blogging about it now). There are a lot of disobedient dragons in the universe.

At the end of this season of Game of Thrones; we see Drogon being disobedient. Daenerys Targaryen asks the largest of her three dragons to take her back to where she was just saved from (in the fighting pits), but Drogon ignored her request due to injury:

I don’t think a lengthy discussion about the relationship between Ash and Charizard is even necessary (I know Charizard is not necessarily a dragon, but he flies and breathes fire so 🙂 ). Charizard initially never listened to Ash (because there was a lack of respect); and he only willingly battled opponents who he thought would be worthy of him (challenged him appropriately):

Facehugger

So I’ve had a cough for a really long time; and my pulmonologist finally let me go for a CT scan of my chest. Parts of the scan look like there is an alien facehugger inside me!

In reality, only an alien chestburster would be able to live within you. I’m not complaining though; being part alien would be cool; if it upgraded my abilities:

I’d definitely be scared! Unless the encounter was with E.T, then it’s chilled. I’d hope for them to be able to answer all my questions; and give a full and accurate timeline of the history of Earth/ the Universe; and i wouldn’t say no to superpowers either.

Pokemon Legends

I just signed up for Pokemon Legends; an online MMO RPG where you can battle, catch and train over 500 Pokemon! You can choose a starter Pokemon from any of the regions under the water/fire/grass type as per normal. Obviously i went for the fire:

My Starter Pokemon – Charmander

I ended up battling and catching 3 Pokemon so far, (Sentret, Caterpie and Starly). Not the greatest line-up for success, but its a start. I have also run out of Poke-balls and im not sure where i can acquire more of them?? I do have money (3010 Pokemon currency) which i intend on spending on new attacks for Charmander:

Ori and the Blind Forest

What a true world of fantasy to escape to. Ori and the Blind Forest is an adventure RPG, and is deeply emotional:
